Get Involved with A New Yarn!

A New Yarn is all about community.  If you would like to partner with us or with Northwest Family Life, we have many opportunities.

 

Donate

A New Yarn accepts donations of yarn, patterns, and knitting or crocheting accessories.  What better way to clean out your stash than to give back to others who love yarn?  Donations are tax deductible and allow us to provide discounted yarn to those building confidence through creativity.  You can stop by anytime during business hours and we will be happy to accept your donation.

 

Volunteer

If you would like to volunteer at A New Yarn, we are looking for guest teachers for our current class schedule.  It’s a great place to share your love of knitting or crocheting and meet others who share similar interests.  You can teach on whatever you are passionate about: socks, beginning classes, sweaters, felting, its up to you!  You can also help to stock shelves or count inventory.  Please contact us for more information. 

 

A New Yarn is also looking for volunteers to knit or crochet sample projects using yarn and patterns carried by the store.  The yarn and patterns will be supplied at no cost.  If you would like to create sample projects to showcase the beauty and versatility of the yarns carried at A New Yarn, please contact us at yarn@nwfamilylife.org and let us know if you would be willing to knit or crochet socks, hats, or children’s and adult sweaters.
